Protein Reindeer Chow

A fun, lighter take on the classic puppy chow. Made with Level-1, so it satisfies that sweet craving and sneaks in some protein. I love keeping the holiday traditions, just being a little more intentional with them.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (or your favorite nut butter)
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar alternative
  • 2 scoops Level-1 protein (Milk Chocolate or Salted Peanut Butter)

Directions

  1. Pour the cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the peanut butter and chocolate chips together, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and gently stir until every piece is evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the coated cereal, powdered sugar alternative, and protein powder to a large zip-top bag.
  5. Seal the bag and shake until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Spread on a tray and let cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
